Gay & Grey Upcoming docuseries As a lesbian woman, Julia M. Free realised that there was a lack of examples of lesbian couples in long-term romantic relationships in her own surroundings. As an artist, she began a project with the support of the Pascal Decroos Fund. Together with gender historian Jasmijn Groot, she is creating a docuseries for Flemish television. Her project, GAY & GREY, follows lesbian couples aged 70 and above in their current lives. Their decades-long partnerships and commitment to one another make them pioneers in the journey towards identity and finding a place in society.
